Fantasy Debut Blog
Fantasty Debut: Read the full review: "There's no question that the story kept my attention. There was only one brief point where the plot slowed down. Nevin stuck strictly to her plot. There was no needless backstory. The present tense became utterly unnoticeable after the first few pages. Nevin shows a lot of potential in her ability to dole out little facts in the mystery bit by bit. The story had a few surprises and it ended fairly satisfyingly, although I can't say that Jena was ever in any true danger. One can imagine Jena becoming a sort of psychic investigator in future books. However this book stands alone."

I had a hard time putting the book down without knowing the end. I look forward to more books from this author.
Cat of MA: I enjoyed reading this book. The plot drew me in and I couldn't wait to find out how it ended. I found it clever how the main character was able to step into the past and observe a murder. I look forward to reading the sequel.
Karen D. of Stow, MA: I enjoyed this book very much. It portrayed a great sense of humor, for example when Jena puts a harness on her cat to take him for a walk and also how chocolate is a very important part of Jena's life. I laughed a lot as well as being intrigued the whole way through. This book is interesting, unique and still believable. The concept of experiencing someone's memories in a different time frame is so clever! I look forward to the author's next novel!
Diann R of Delaware, OH: The main character Jena keeps herself in good physical shape and has a great sense of humor in the story. Her high energy level combined with her inquisitive mind makes her relentless and determined to resolve a mysterious murder that happened years ago. It gets really exciting and intense the deeper you get into the book. The buildup of suspense was so high that I had to stay up all night to finish reading the book. It's a great read and you won't be disappointed with the ending.
