About the Book: Believing that the newly opened Betta Conservation Land holds many long-forgotten mysteries, Jena eagerly seeks to explore it. In the most unlikely of places, an abandoned ballroom, her intuition is validated as she enters the mind of a young woman named May. Ready to dismiss the experience as a daydream produced by her overactive imagination, Jena is stunned when her best friend, Katri, encourages her to return to the ruined building. Suspecting that Katri knows more than she's telling, Jena follows Katri's advice and finds herself once again inside May's mind. Through repeated visits, Jena discovers a terrible secret involving murder and intrigue. But can she stop it, or will it destroy her?

About the cover painting.
The cover for my novel is a photo based on a custom original oil
painting by Diann Izzie,
one of my very talented sisters. My home is filled with beautiful
pieces that she has created. Some pieces are a result of a combined
effort between Diann and her husband Chuck, of whom is quite skilled
with wood. She will provide a pattern (clock or some fun creation), and
Chuck will carve it out. Chuck is also quite skilled with a laythe! I
have two lamps, a wooden plate and two wooden bowls that he made!
Diann's creative
abilities don't stop at painting. She does unique one of a kind polymer
clay creations, designs her own embroidery projects, sews and quilts,
and holds copyrights on several crochet patterns. She even does silk
flower arrangements and can pretty much turn any thing you give to her
into a work of art. I call Chuck and Diann the 'dynamic duo' and I am
proud to display all the pieces that they have given me. Diann also provided a custom oil painting for the new cover of Bridges,
by L.P. Sloan.
